Celebrational Cacao (perfect for a cacao ceremony)

There are many recipes out there to make ceremonial cacao.

We recommend a ratio of about 25 grams of our celebrational cacao to 1 cup of your nut milk of choice. While you don't have to have a cacao ceremony to enjoy cacao, putting some conscious intention into the making of your cacao can turn this process into a nice ritual you do as part of your self-care regimen.

  1. In a big pot, pour the milk and place on a low flame.
  2. Add the celebrational cacao.
  3. add your sweetener of choice (Maple, coconut sugar, date syrup)
  4. optional- add some cinammon, chai spices, or pepper for a nice kick
  5. Preferably with your favorite wooden spoon, stir the cacao occasionally, making sure it does not start to bubble/burn.
  6. Once all the cacao has melted and become a nice thick consistency, you can turn off the stovetop and pour yourself a cup.
