Edible Cookie Dough

When you're looking for a quick sweet fix but don't want to go full out bake mode- this is the dessert for you! What makes it edible you ask? No raw eggs, and the flour has been heated! 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup (160 g.) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (160 g.) packed CleanCane®
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. (100 g.) any flavor of our YES Cacao Chips (Our favorite is the Bliss out chips)

Instructions:

  1. In a small pyrex bowl, microwave flour in 15-second increments, stirring between increments, until your thermometer reads 160° in the center of the flour. Should be 45 seconds to 1 minute total. Make sure not to burn! Let cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, using a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, beat sugar, butter, and salt until light and fluffy. Add cream and vanilla and beat until combined.
  3. Add flour and beat until no lumps remain. Using a rubber spatula, fold in chips.
  4. Transfer cookie dough to an airtight container and refrigerate (best after a few hours)
